A Reflection Zone Plate (RZP), a two-dimensional laminar grating of variable line spacing located at a distance R1 from a source, is capable of imaging the source by diffraction onto a certain distance R2 along the optical axis, acting as both a dispersive and focusing optical element.

The flyer describes in short properties and production of Reflection Zone Plates. It can be downloaded.

NOB takes part in four research grants: Neugar, WDSX, MOSFER and COPYSPHÄR.

Neugar, WDSX are cofinanced by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.

MOSFER and COPYSPHÄR cofinanced by the European Fund for Regional Development (EFRE)

Concrete descriptions for specific optical elements are given on this page.
