Presently the enthusiastic workforce of NOB comprises seven people. Here are two of them:
Dr. Thomas Krist
Founder and Director
Thomas received his Ph.D. in physics from the Free University Berlin. In 1986 he joined the group of Prof. Mezei at the Hahn-Meitner-Institut Berlin and headed the neutron optics development. He advised NOB since its foundation in 2000. After his retirement, he acts as CEO of NOB.
Heike Löchel
Scientist
Heike developed in her thesis reflective zone plates which focus and disperse soft x-rays. She joined NOB in 2016 and leads the work to produce zone plates.
